Prof. Otas Durotovic is a specialist in urology with a strong focus on minimally invasive and laser techniques for the treatment of urological conditions. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade in 1996 and completed his specialization in urology in 2004. He earned his Master's degree in male infertility in 2007 and his PhD in 2016, focusing on minimally invasive treatment of complex kidney stone disease.

Since 1998, Prof. Otas Durotovic has been working at the Clinic of Urology at the University Clinical Center of Serbia, where he currently serves as Head of the Department for Stone Disease. In 2022, he was appointed Professor of Surgery with Anesthesiology and Urology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.

He is a member of the Serbian Medical Society, the Serbian Association of Urologists, and the European Association of Urology. Since 2018, he has served as an educator in minimally invasive stone management techniques for the European School of Urology.

Prof. Otas Durotovic has received multiple first-place awards for his presentations at European urological meetings. His international training includes advanced courses in endourology at AKH University Hospital in Vienna (with Prof. Michael Marberger, 2010), in Innsbruck (with Prof. Udo Nagele, 2015), and in Paris (with Prof. Olivier Traxer, 2017).

At the University Clinical Center of Serbia, he introduced several advanced techniques for kidney and urinary tract stone treatment, including PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy) and FURS (flexible laser lithotripsy).

His main areas of interest include minimally invasive and laser techniques in urology and endourology.
