Dr. Federico Dotta received his MD from the University of Genoa, Italy, in 2014 and completed his Urology specialization in 2020.

During his residency, he spent a year at Tygerberg Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa, where, assisted by Prof A. wan der Merwe and Dr P. Spies, he started doing PCNL primarily in the prone position. Following this enriching experience, he began to modify his approach from prone to supine PCNL and finally to ECIRS.

2020 - Fellow of The European Board of Urology (FEBU)

Since 2020, he has been a Consultant Urologist specializing in the treatment of urinary stone disease at the Urology Department - Ente Ospedaliero Ospedali Galliera, Genoa, under the direction of Dr. C. Introini. He dedicates his effort to offering a range of the latest techniques and technologies tailored to optimizing patient care.
