He is one of the most experienced urologists in the field of minimally invasive treatments for kidney stones and benign prostatic hyperplasia, including advanced laser procedures such as HoLEP and ThuFLEP. He regularly shares his expertise with peers both nationally and internationally through conferences, as well as theoretical and hands-on training courses.

He currently serves as Head of Endourology at the Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad del Bajío (HRAEB) in Mexico. He is also a professor in the one-year Endourology Fellowship program endorsed by the Endourological Society (JUST-UROLOGY-HERE).
